Personalised Co has revolutionised the way people across the globe consume daily nutritional products. A direct-to-consumer supplement health and wellness brand, Personalised Co is bridging the gap between technology and fitness. From 30-day personalised vitamins and customised protein powder to your very own nutritionist, their online offering provides you with everything you need to be the healthiest and happiest version of yourself.
After a period of significant growth, Personalised Co needed an ecommerce platform that would not only attain its modern style but also optimise conversions. So, they decided that Shopify Plus was the best solution for growing their business and engaging their customers.
Next began the search for a Shopify Plus agency to bring their store to life. Following an extensive research process, they chose Velstar because of our Shopify Plus expertise. With years of experience and 250+ Shopify stores launched, we were the ideal agency to create their vision.
After discussing the client’s key objectives and analysing the key data, we began the project by mapping out and overhauling the current onsite navigation, followed by a full migration of their core products and content from WooCommerce to Shopify Plus.
We could then enhance the core functionality of the site and improve the feel and personality of their previous store. Many of the elements were custom-built to suit Personalised Co’s customer needs and unique product offering.
This included a quiz landing page that uses a questionnaire algorithm to determine which personalised product is right for a customer. The easy to answer form asks the customer questions based on scientific research regarding their diet, lifestyle and goals so the algorithm can recommend a personalised vitamin routine.
Additionally, to enhance Personalised Co’s service offering and further solidify their reputation as nutritional experts, we added a nutritionist landing page that allows subscribers to contact a nutritionist and book a private consultation.
With improved product catalogue management and product information, including their own brand Vs leading competitor comparison and an ingredients breakdown, Personalised Co can be more reactive to changes and offer more transparency to their customers.
To further enhance the customer journey, we also added product suggestions with a pop-out. This allows customers to easily access further details on a suggested vitamin. And discount offers and promotions are now clearly visible throughout the shopping journey too.
Additionally, a key part of the spec was that Personalised Co wanted to reward their loyal customers and boost customer retention. With this in mind, we integrated the Loyalty program provider, LoyaltyLion. By partnering with LoyaltyLion we could create a bespoke rewards system named Personalised Points, offering customers incentives to remain loyal to the brand.
What’s more, to further boost customer retention, whilst catering to shoppers’ need for convenience, we integrated subscriptions and recurring payments app, ReCharge. This offers customers the choice to set up monthly subscriptions with the brand, making it easier for users to manage their supplements routine and stay committed.
Finally, we integrated the reviews platform, Trustpilot. Customer reviews and ratings can be seen throughout the user journey to enhance brand credibility and raise conversion rates.
Since the launch, Personalised Co has gone from strength to strength and consistently outperformed Shopify Plus’ averages in various ways, including site traffic and revenue. Specifically, the brand’s sales have increased 3x MoM.
