User experience (UX)

UX deals with the interaction between customer and brand, making changes to a website to make it more intuitive, easier to understand and pleasing to use. This is woven into the design of the entire customer journey from arriving on your website to the checkout process and beyond - and includes elements of branding (the site needs to look and feel like your brand), design (it needs to look great), usability (it needs to be easy to use on all devices and by all users) and function (it needs to do what it looks like it should, and do it easily and intuitively).

User interface (UI)

UI deals with the interactions between a customer and your website, whether that’s visuals, sounds, apps and widgets, responsiveness - and everything around basic functionality from what happens on.hover to what happens when you click a button. It’s a UI expert’s responsibility to provide a bespoke, brand relevant experience at every touchpoint, on every device at all stages of the customer journey.

Once we have these baselines, and in consultation with your brand, we will look to reach a concrete idea of the experience you want your customers to enjoy when visiting your site.

We then look for ‘quick fixes’ - aspects of your site which we know we can change to better match your branding, or to improve performance - that can be implemented prior to a more thorough process of review, consultation and implementation.
